the French Community in Belgium

City, Citizenship and Gender Issues
"Sustainable and Safer Cities, Development and Gender Issues"
a useful information tool for all actors wishing
to increase better living
conditions
for all, Men and Women in North and South Countries
This next multilingual CD-Rom project will be mainly on gender issues regarding
cities and habitat, housing and urban settlements, safety and mobility, global ans
sustainable development, ecology, participation in shelter strategies, living environment,
public and private space, urban and domestic violence, grass-roots organizations actions,
pilot projects, education tools, women's empowerment process, women's rights, women's
point of view, equality, decision making, equal opportunities
and will propose
theories, reports, policies and programs, declarations, good practices, tools,
data bases, resource person lists, key indicators, training materials, websites, links etc
This Free Shared CD-Rom
will be updated each year with a view to the Universal Forum of Cultures in
Barcelona in the year 2004

CALL FOR PAPERS
Documents to share with others:
>> presentation of your organization (history, projects, good practices)
>> brochures, pamphlets, reports, entire books or references, bibliography,
newsletters, theses, conference minutes, technical files, links, videos, interviews, web
sites (in any language, however summaries in English, or/and in French, or/and in Spanish
are very useful.)
Send documents on hard paper and if possible already on electronic support (diskettes,
zip, e-mail).

This CD-Rom offers you a specific space that you can manage on your own: 5 till 50 MB
are available.
Thanks to this network you will be able to collect more information and increase the links
in your geographical area.
